Bifurcation Chaos"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2012,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> Jacobian elliptic functions are at the heart of nonlinear science long before the discovery of chaos and complexity. Here, these fundamental functions are shown to be a suitable tool to model complex natural shapes in contrast to the traditionally used sinusoidal functions.
