Despite the simple algebraic structure, this map, recently introduced in the literature, is very rich in nonlinear phenomena. Multiple strange attractors, transitions to chaos via period-doubling bifurcations, quasiperiodicity as well as intermittency, interior crisis, hyperchaos are only a few.
