Bifurcation Chaos"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2020,7]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>In this paper, we describe a coupled nonlinear electromechanical torsional vibration model of a high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor driven system based on the Lagrange\u2013Maxwell theory. The chaotic state is induced by external excitation forces. A multitime delay feedback control scheme is derived to suppress chaos in such vibrations. An analytical criterion condition for chaos is deduced by Melnikov\u2019s method. Detailed numerical studies, including bifurcation diagram, phase portrait, and a Poincar\u00e9 map, confirm the analytical prediction.
