Bifurcation Chaos"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2021,9,15]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> Conditions for the emergence of strong Turing\u2013Hopf instabilities in the Lengyel\u2013Epstein CIMA reaction\u2013diffusion model are found. Under these conditions, time periodic spatially inhomogeneous solutions can be induced by diffusive instability of the spatially homogeneous limit cycle emerging at a supercritical Bautin\u2013Hopf bifurcation about the unstable steady state of the reaction system.
