Bifurcation Chaos"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,15]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Multiwing\/scroll hidden attractors have shown great application prospects in the field of information encryption due to their complex dynamical characteristics. However, the construction of Grid Multiwing Hidden Attractors (GMWHAs) has received relatively little attention. In this paper, a new Impulse-Controlled Dimension Expansion Method (ICDEM) used for expanding system dimensions is proposed. This method can be used to generate One-Dimensional (1D)-Multiwing Hidden Attractors (MWHAs) and GMWHAs by replicating and expanding the original system\u2019s stable equilibrium points. Taking a Lorenz-like system and a hyperchaotic system for case studies, research results show that ICDEM enables the expanded system to generate MWHAs in any direction of the expanded variables without altering the original system structure and stability. Particularly, the expanded system can generate MWHAs with an arbitrary number of wings by adjusting only the impulse signal parameter. Finally, the expanded system is implemented in hardware circuits based on the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) platform.
