Algebra Comput."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2000,8]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> We prove that every finite subgroup of a hyperbolic group G can be conjugated to a 2\u03b4+1 neighborhood of the identity element, where \u03b4 is the hyperbolicity constant for G with respect to a given generating set.
