Let L be finite simple group D<jats:sub>n<\/jats:sub>(q) with disconnected Gruenberg\u2013Kegel graph. First, we establish that L is quasi-recognizable by spectrum except D<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub>(2) and D<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub>(3), i.e., every finite group G with \u03c9(G) = \u03c9(L) has a unique nonabelian composition factor that is isomorphic to L.
