Mostly of this tools deal with fuzzy sets from the view of similarity, order and so forth. A comparison tool based on coherence intuitive concept is presented. For constructing this concept, one start from three basics properties. A development of this tool is presented, equally coherence measures are connected with Fishburn-Yager's ambiguity measures. Two methods for constructing coherence measures are shown: one from ambiguity measures and other from metrics on [0, 1]m<\/jats:sup>. Concretely, has been constructed various coherence measures from different ambiguity measures and different metrics. Equivalency between some coherence measures has been shown. This paper finish with numeric examples presented in order to check coherence measures displayed. <\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1142\/s0218488500000472","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2003,4,22]],"date-time":"2003-04-22T07:43:29Z","timestamp":1050997409000},"page":"641-663","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":7,"title":["COHERENCE MEASURES ON FINITE FUZZY SETS"],"prefix":"10.1142","volume":"08","author":[{"given":"A.","family":"SANCHO-ROYO","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Depto. de Matematicas, Escuela de Arte de Granada, 18001 Granada, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"J.
