Log."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2003,5]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>The purpose of this article is to prove the relative consistency of certain statements about open colorings with 2<jats:sup>\u2135<jats:sub>0<\/jats:sub><\/jats:sup>&lt; 2<jats:sup>\u2135<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub><\/jats:sup>. In particular both OCA and the statement that every 1\u20131 function of size \u2135<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>is \u03c3-monotonic are consistent with 2<jats:sup>\u2135<jats:sub>0<\/jats:sub><\/jats:sup>&lt; 2<jats:sup>\u2135<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub><\/jats:sup>.
