Mgmt."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2026,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Implementing knowledge management in automated enterprises often falls short of expectations due to inconsistent conceptual understanding, leading to its misapplication. This paper highlights these conceptual limitations and proposes a new mechanism for developing organisational processes around big data utilisation. This mechanism aims to analyse and evaluate the economic efficiency of optimal big data use, presenting key evaluation methods for both short- and long-term perspectives. The study underscores the necessity of company-led evaluation processes and provides methodological support for developing regulatory and economic mechanisms to assess the economic efficiency of big data implementation.
