First, we discuss the properties of N-band scaling functions, and the construction of the corresponding wavelet tight frame as well as the explication of the formula of the wavelet tight frame. Thereafter, the decomposition and reconstruction formulas of the bivariate N-band wavelet tight frames are provided.
