Algorithm. Appl."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2012,9]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> In this paper, we mainly obtain the set-indexing number of paths and certain cycles. For a given cycle, we show that there are only two possible values for the set-indexing number of it. We have also computed the set-indexing number of fans of order atleast five.
