We determine necessary and sufficient conditions on [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] admits a triangulation. For [Formula: see text], we investigate the possibility of placing [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] admits a triangulation for certain families of graphs [Formula: see text].
