The spectral radii of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are investigated. Some basic properties of the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue, the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue and the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are presented. Several lower and upper bounds of the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue, the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue and the [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue for [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] are established. The largest [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue of [Formula: see text] and the smallest [Formula: see text]-eigenvalue of [Formula: see text] are characterized.
