A"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2004,9,28]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Data indicate that \u0394I=3\/2 transitions account for 4.5\u20134.7% of both CP conserving and CP violating K\u21922\u03c0 decays, as well as CP conserving radiative K\u2192\u03c0\u03c0\u03b3 processes. Observed K\u2192\u03c0\u03c0\u03b3\/\u03c0\u03c0 branching ratios are shown to scale near \u03b1\/\u03c0 or \u03b1\/2\u03c0. The K<jats:sub>L<\/jats:sub>\u2013K<jats:sub>S<\/jats:sub>mixing angle \u03d5 and the semileptonic weak-rate asymmetry \u03b4 are reviewed, and theory is shown to be consistent with data. Also, K\u21922\u03c0 \u0394I=1\/2 dominance is studied in the context of the chiral constituent quark model, displaying again excellent agreement with data. Finally, indirect and direct kaon CP violation (CPV) are successfully described in the framework of photon-mediated quark-loop graphs.
