A"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2003,5,20]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> We argue that there are no axially symmetric rotating monopole solutions for a Yang\u2013Mills\u2013Higgs theory in flat space\u2013time background. We construct axially symmetric Yang\u2013Mills\u2013Higgs solutions in the presence of a negative cosmological constant, carrying magnetic charge n and a nonvanishing electric charge.
