Knot Theory Ramifications"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2003,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> The number of colorings of a knot diagram by a given quandle is a knot invariant. This follows naturally from the fact that the knot quandle is a knot invariant, and is observed again in the context of the CJKLS invariant and also in the context of the equivalence relation on colored diagrams introduced by the second author. <\/jats:p><jats:p> Here we investigate the effectiveness of this invariant on prime knots of up to and including ten crossings, by computing the number of colorings using a list of ten quandles.
