We use the mean field approximation to investigate this type of quark matter described by the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model. The effect of the magnetic field on the effective quark masses and chemical potentials is only felt for quite strong magnetic fields, above 5 × 1018 G , with larger effects for the lower densities. Spin polarizations are more sensitive to weaker magnetic fields and are larger for lower temperatures and lower densities.
[[2012,1,16
["FINITE TEMPERATURE MATTER SUBJECT TO STRONG MAGNETIC FIELDS
Departamento de Física CFM, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC CP.476, CEP 88.040-900, Brazil
Departamento de Física CFM, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC CP.476, CEP 88.040-900, Brazil
Centro de Física Computacional, Department of Physics, University of Coimbra, P-3004-516, Coimbra, Portugal
[[2012,4,7
["International Journal of Modern Physics E
[[2019,8,7
[[2011,12
[[2012,4,7
2011,12
10.1142/S0218301311040657
["0218-3013","1793-6608
[[2011,12]]}}}
