The Scottish specimens differ slightly from the illustrations of Russian material in having less angular axial canals and by showing longitudinal offset of meres. Both Kazakhstan and Craighead lie near the Caradoc equator and the migration of this organism may indicate an ancient circumequatorial ocean current which carried larval crinoids.
