The study was conducted during 1985, and involved over 50 end-users in five\n            <jats:bold>Fortune<\/jats:bold>\n            1000 corporations. Semi-structured interviews were used to obtain the user's viewpoint on such issues as: the\n            <jats:bold>importance<\/jats:bold>\n            of information center services, the\n            <jats:bold>effectiveness<\/jats:bold>\n            of those services as delivered in the user's own company, and the use and importance of\n            <jats:bold>other sources<\/jats:bold>\n            for similar services. In addition,\n            <jats:bold>critical success factors<\/jats:bold>\n            for information centers, and users opinions on the anticipated\n            <jats:bold>future need<\/jats:bold>\n            for information center services were also solicited.
