Some properties and principles of the system are presented. Design objectives and their implementation are reviewed.The programming language ANALITIK available on the MIR-2 computer is a special purpose language designed for numerical and analytical computations. The language and the computer have been developed at the Institute of Cybernetics in Kiev under direction of the well known Soviet cybernetician, academician V. M. Glushkov. It represents a continuation of a product line of special purpose computers for mathematical problems.
