But the exception handling code that is used to respond to exceptional conditions tends to be the source of the systems failure. It is difficult to test the exception handling by usual methods. This paper proposes an approach to automatic testing of exception handling based on analyzing the problems encountered during testing exception handling. The method of testing exception handling is efficient through combining the structure of exception handling with \"assertion violation\".
