Percept."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2005,10]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>\n            This commentary was written for the article \u201cData collection analysis techniques for evaluating the perceptual qualities of auditory stimuli\u201d that was presented at the\n            <jats:italic>International Conference on Auditory Display<\/jats:italic>\n            in 1998. The original paper was written as a primer for research design and statistical evaluation of perceptual responses to auditory displays as well as a catalyst for the formation of interdisciplinary teams for such research.
