Six years have elapsed since the release of that suite, and in that time memory sizes have increased significantly, so the memory requirements for the recently released CPU2006 reflect this. CPU2006 has been targeted to have a benchmark memory footprint of about 900MB, allowing the suite to run on machines with 1GB of memory.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1145\/1241601.1241619","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2007,6,6]],"date-time":"2007-06-06T14:37:16Z","timestamp":1181140636000},"page":"90-96","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":37,"title":["CPU2006 working set size"],"prefix":"10.1145","volume":"35","author":[{"given":"Darryl","family":"Gove","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Sun Microsystems Inc."}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"320","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2007,3]]},"reference":[{"key":"e_1_2_1_1_1","volume-title":"CPU2000 Memory Footprint\", http:\/\/www.spec.org\/cpu2000\/analysis\/memory\/","author":"John L."},{"key":"e_1_2_1_2_1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1145\/1241601.1241618"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_3_1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1145\/363095.363141"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_4_1","unstructured":"Suleyman Sair Mark Charney \"Memory behavior of the SPEC2000 benchmark suite\" IBM Research Report RC 21852 2000  Suleyman Sair Mark Charney \"Memory behavior of the SPEC2000 benchmark suite\" IBM Research Report RC 21852 2000"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_5_1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1145\/563519.563522"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_6_1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/HPCA.2005.4"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_7_1","unstructured":"Simple Performance Optimisation Tool. http:\/\/cooltools.sunsource.net\/spot\/  Simple Performance Optimisation Tool. http:\/\/cooltools.sunsource.net\/spot\/"},{"key":"e_1_2_1_8_1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1145\/183018.183032"}],"container-title":["ACM SIGARCH Computer Architecture News"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/1241601.1241619","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/pdf\/10.1145\/1241601.1241619","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,6,18]],"date-time":"2025-06-18T14:51:26Z","timestamp":1750258286000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/1241601.1241619"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2007,3]]},"references-count":8,"journal-issue":{"issue":"1","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2007,3]]}},"alternative-id":["10.1145\/1241601.1241619"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/1241601.1241619","relation":{},"ISSN":["0163-5964"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0163-5964","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2007,3]]},"assertion":[{"value":"2007-03-01","order":2,"name":"published","label":"Published","group":{"name":"publication_history","label":"Publication History"}}]}}
