Comput."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2007,9]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>This paper describes the author's dissertation research on improving the accessibility of pen-based technology. The first step for this research was to gather information on the underlying causes of target acquisition difficulty. To meet this goal, a controlled laboratory study was conducted, which uncovered three sources of difficulty: slipping, drifting, and missing just below.
