Object Technology (OT) offers support to deliver products to market more quickly and to provide high quality products with lower maintenance costs. As expertise in managing Object-Oriented (OO) project grows, such a body of OO metric knowledge will become increasingly usable across the Industry. There is need for good OO metrics for both process and product management. Estimation is an important field of software engineering.
