In addition to increased access for learners, instructors have increased access to career opportunities through online learning environments. With this access for instructors comes the responsibility of institutions to properly train instructors with skills necessary to educate the growing number of learners. This article focuses on the before, during, and after training strategies institutions should employ to prepare instructors for online teaching.
