This mechanism is of great benefit to many critical systems as it enables fault isolation. To provide fault-tolerant scheduling in a compositional real-time scheduling framework, a few works have recently emerged, but remain inefficient in providing fault isolation or in terms of resource utilization. In this paper, we introduced a new interface model that takes into account the fault requirements of a component, and a fault-tolerant resource model that helps the component to effectively respond to each of its child components in presence of a fault.
