Cloud Service Providers, such as AWS, allow users to launch VM instances on multiple data centers (regions) around the world. However, the network connectivity and bandwidth between these different geographically distributed regions varies significantly depending on the user's location. In this paper, we analyze the network performance between pairs of AWS instances hosted on all available regions.
