By quick response and rescue, it saves human lives from the secondary disasters and enhances the stability of communities after disasters. Emergency management requires lots of new geospatial technologies to support the quick response and recovery and the integrating of location-based wireless information streams. With the advances of GIS technologies, the improvement of the emergency management research becomes possible.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1145\/2876480.2876488","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2016,1,12]],"date-time":"2016-01-12T13:18:52Z","timestamp":1452604732000},"page":"35-35","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":1,"title":["EM-GIS 2015 workshop report"],"prefix":"10.1145","volume":"7","author":[{"given":"Hui","family":"Zhang","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Tsinghua University, China"}]},{"given":"Yan","family":"Huang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"University of North Texas"}]},{"given":"Jean-Claude","family":"Thill","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"University of North Carolina at Charlotte"}]}],"member":"320","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2016,1,11]]},"container-title":["SIGSPATIAL Special"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/2876480.2876488","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/pdf\/10.1145\/2876480.2876488","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,6,18]],"date-time":"2025-06-18T04:39:10Z","timestamp":1750221550000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/2876480.2876488"}},"subtitle":["the first ACM SIGSPATIAL International Workshop on the Use of GIS in Emergency Management (Seattle, Washington, USA - November 3, 2015)"],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2016,1,11]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"3","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2016,1,11]]}},"alternative-id":["10.1145\/2876480.2876488"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/2876480.2876488","relation":{},"ISSN":["1946-7729"],"issn-type":[{"type":"electronic","value":"1946-7729"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2016,1,11]]},"assertion":[{"value":"2016-01-11","order":2,"name":"published","label":"Published","group":{"name":"publication_history","label":"Publication History"}}]}}
