There will undoubtedly be requests for revisions big and small, the need to match changing software, and to support new and revised demo stories. All of this makes automating the process worthwhile. Modern scripting languages make it easy to create ad hoc functions that act like a little language. A repeatable process helps collaboration, enables delegation, and saves time now and in the future.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1145\/3344777.3355565","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,9,3]],"date-time":"2020-09-03T04:01:23Z","timestamp":1599105683000},"page":"24-31","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Demo Data as Code"],"prefix":"10.1145","volume":"17","author":[{"given":"Thomas A.","family":"Limoncelli","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Stack Overflow Inc."}]}],"member":"320","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2019,6]]},"container-title":["Queue"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/3344777.3355565","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/pdf\/10.1145\/3344777.3355565","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,6,17]],"date-time":"2025-06-17T23:54:27Z","timestamp":1750204467000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/10.1145\/3344777.3355565"}},"subtitle":["Automation helps collaboration."],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2019,6]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"3","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2019,6]]}},"alternative-id":["10.1145\/3344777.3355565"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/3344777.3355565","relation":{},"ISSN":["1542-7730","1542-7749"],"issn-type":[{"type":"print","value":"1542-7730"},{"type":"electronic","value":"1542-7749"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2019,6]]},"assertion":[{"value":"2019-06-01","order":2,"name":"published","label":"Published","group":{"name":"publication_history","label":"Publication History"}}]}}
