At the same time, this rapid growth has led to numerous challenges for software development engineers both on a technical and managerial level. NLP has changed the way we interact with computers, and it'll continue doing so in the future. These technologies, mainly based on artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), would be the underlying force for transformation from data-driven to intelligence-driven endeavors, as they shape and improve communication technology in the years to come. The literature and research communities are observing the same technological advancements in the domain of software engineering introduced by the use of NLP techniques in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence. Thus, the NLP-SEA (Software Engineering Automation: A Natural Language Perspective) series of workshops is a means to contribute to the advancement and furthering of knowledge in this direction. The focus of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for the researchers and practitioners in academia and industry to provide a diverse, but significant body of research contributions on every aspect related to the application of NLP in the automated software and system engineering domain.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1145\/3520273.3520279","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,4,27]],"date-time":"2022-04-27T00:31:16Z","timestamp":1651019476000},"page":"15-16","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["NLP-SEA 2021 Workshop Summary"],"prefix":"10.1145","volume":"47","author":[{"given":"Sajid","family":"Anwar","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar, Pakistan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Abdul","family":"Rauf","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Knightec AB, Vasteras, Sweden"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Muhammad","family":"Ramzan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Saudi Electronic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Imran","family":"Razzak","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Deakin University, Australia"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Mehrdad","family":"Saadatmad","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Research Institutes of Sweden, Vasteras, Sweden"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"320","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2022,4,26]]},"reference":[{"key":"e_1_2_1_1_1","volume":"2021","author":"Aljedaani W.","unstructured":"W.
