After having served four years as a Vice Chair for SIGWEB, I am now in charge as Chair since 1 July. I will be supported by Irwin King (The Chinese University of Hong Kong) as Vice Chair and Alexandra Bonnici (L-Universit\u00e0 ta' Malta) as Treasurer, as well as by the former Chair, Peter Brusilovsky, and - last but not least - the many excellent members of the SIGWEB Executive Committee\n            <jats:sup>1<\/jats:sup>\n            .
