In its inaugural year, we had to come up with new ideas to make it suitable as an inclusive conference for participants from all around the world. Therefore, we decided early to have a three-day conference with three different themes based on regions: Europe, Africa, Middle East, and West Asia; East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand; and the Americas. We decided to hold the conference in early December of 2024 to have the most time available for planning and preparation.
