ACM"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,10]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Quantum computing (QC) offers the potential to address computational challenges that are currently beyond the capabilities of classical systems. This article highlights contributions from the Arab world in advancing QC research, focusing on two key domains: quantum machine learning (QML) and QC for location tracking and spatial systems. In QML, researchers address foundational challenges such as barren plateaus and privacy concerns while exploring applications for healthcare, finance, and materials science. In location tracking and spatial systems, quantum algorithms demonstrate improved accuracy and efficiency, with practical implementations on near-term quantum hardware.
