ACM"],"abstract":"<jats:p>\n            In this article, we present reflective insights into digital addiction among families in the Arab Peninsula region, focusing on its prevalence, contributing factors, responsible stakeholders, and potential solutions. The term\n            <jats:italic toggle=\"yes\">digital addiction<\/jats:italic>\n            is used informally to describe a pattern of excessive and compulsive technology use that causes harm to individuals, their immediate social circles, and society at large. Across several studies, prevalence rates and reported symptoms were notably high among both parents and children in the region, exceeding those observed in other parts of the world. Parental Internet use, along with school and family environments, emerged as key predictors of digital addiction in adolescents.
