This is the first political news bias detection model that considers neutrosophic sets for contextual word analysis to address inconsistency and indeterminacy, newly enhanced Hindi SentiWordNet and MuRil language model for encoded output and multiclass classification. This proposed novel model transforms input words into a neutrosophic domain and is characterized by degree of truth, indeterminacy, and false membership components. This set applies the concept of indeterminacy that improves the biasness detection accuracy for each news headline. The experimentation and evaluation of proposed model shows the better accuracy than the state-of-the-art methods, MuRil language model combined with neutrosophic sets improves 37.5% to 50% accuracy.\n <\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1145\/3767316","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,9,16]],"date-time":"2025-09-16T11:19:56Z","timestamp":1758021596000},"page":"1-26","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1145\/crossmark-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Political Bias Detection from Hindi News Using Neutrosophic Sets, MuRil and Extended Hindi SentiWordNet"],"prefix":"10.1145","volume":"24","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-0979-0788","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Sayani","family":"Ghosal","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology","place":["Noida, India"]}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0009-0007-6631-7907","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Aditya","family":"Bachhawat","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Computer Science and Engineering, Netaji Subhas University of Technology","place":["New Delhi, India"]}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-0891-3675","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Amita","family":"Jain","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"CSE, Netaji Subhas University of Technology","place":["New Delhi, India"]}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-7388-5880","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Devendra","family":"Tayal","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women","place":["New Delhi, India"]}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"320","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2025,10,24]]},"reference":[{"key":"e_1_3_2_2_2","first-page":"396","article-title":"Neutrosophic logic-a generalization of the intuitionistic fuzzy logic","volume":"4","author":"Florentin Smarandache","year":"2010","unstructured":"Smarandache Florentin. 2010.
