Internet Things"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,11,30]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>ACM TIOT launched a special issue on the theme of LLM Empowered Internet of Things, exploring the intersection of Large Language Models\u00a0(LLMs) and the Internet of Things\u00a0(IoT). As IoT continues to expand, advanced computational models are increasingly essential for processing and analyzing the massive data generated by interconnected devices. This special issue focuses on how LLMs can enhance IoT systems in several key areas. These include improving context-aware perception and retrieval in complex IoT environments, applications of LLMs in human\u2013computer interaction as well as applications of AI agents for IoT. The issue also highlights emerging trends in low-code and zero-code development for IoT programming, and the deployment of AI models at the edge.
