Currently, we are focused on finding low-cost, stable, durable, and efficient electrocatalytic materials for H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub> reduction in DBPFCs. Recently, some perovskite-type oxides were found to have reasonable activity for H<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>O<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub> electroreduction. Here, La<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>NiO<jats:sub>4<\/jats:sub> ceramic disks are prepared by mechanosynthesis and characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.
