A nonequilibrium Green\u2032s functions\nformalism is employed for the state broadening and conductivity. The subband structure of\nthe inversion layer electrons is calculated self\u2010consistently by simultaneously solving the\nSchr\u00f6dinger, Poisson and Dyson equations. The self\u2010energy contributions from the various\nscattering mechanisms are calculated within the self\u2010consistent Born approximation. Screening\nis treated within RPA.
