For non\u2010degenerate semiconductors the law of\nmass action is represented by the product <jats:italic>N<\/jats:italic><jats:italic>P<\/jats:italic> = <jats:italic>N<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>C<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub><jats:italic>N<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>V<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> exp\u2010 <jats:italic>E<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>G<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub>\/<jats:italic>K<\/jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>B<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub><jats:italic>T<\/jats:italic>.
