Such a chip would have orders of magnitude lower power consumption compared\nto state\u2010of\u2010the\u2010art dynamic memories, and would allow integration densities beyond the\ntera bit chip.We studied various single\u2010electron memory designs. Additionally we are\nproposing a new memory cell which we call the <jats:italic>T<\/jats:italic>\u2010memory cell.
