We assume a field dependent relaxation time fitted to give the same drift speed\n(mean velocity) as DSMC simulations for bulk Si. We compute the density, mean\nvelocity, force field, potential drop, energy and I\u2010V curves of both models and plot the\npdf of the deterministic relaxation\u2010time model. We also compare the results to augmented\ndrift\u2010diffusion models proposed in the literature to approximate the relaxation\ntime system in the quasi\u2010ballistic regime.
