The sensor \n layout is based on the use of an optical \n retroreflector, to improve the detection \n sensitivity, and it was especially designed for \n detecting in situ rapid changes of ozone \n concentration. Preliminary tests were performed \n in a typical MV switchboard. Artificial defects \n simulated predischarge phenomena arising during \n real operating conditions.
