To study the effect of model parameters to<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M3\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>\u211b<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>0<\/mml:mn><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>, sensitivity and elasticity analysis of<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M4\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>\u211b<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>0<\/mml:mn><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>were performed. When temperature and precipitation effects are not considered,<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M5\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>\u211b<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>0<\/mml:mn><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>is more sensitive to the expected number of infected<jats:italic>Aedes<\/jats:italic>spp. due to one infected livestock and more elastic to the expected number of infected livestock due to one infected<jats:italic>Aedes<\/jats:italic>spp. When climatic data are used,<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M6\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>\u211b<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>0<\/mml:mn><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>is found to be more sensitive and elastic to the expected number of infected eggs laid by<jats:italic>Aedes<\/jats:italic>spp. via transovarial transmission, followed by the expected number of infected livestock due to one infected<jats:italic>Aedes<\/jats:italic>spp. and the expected number of infected<jats:italic>Aedes<\/jats:italic>spp. due to one infected livestock for both regions Arusha and Dodoma.
