The two subarrays using the same array geometry are used to form a signal whose phase relative to the reference signal is a function of the DOA. The DOA is estimated by calculating the phase-shift between the reference signal and its phase-shifted version. The performance of this DOA estimation technique is significantly improved due to the application of order recursive MSNWF for the rejection of interference signals.
