The dependency of AC driving current<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M1\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>and frequency on giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect and magnetization were investigated using a 4294A impedance analyzer and the transverse Kerr effect. The GMI effect was analyzed when<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M2\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>changed from 6\u2009mA to 20\u2009mA at a frequency ranging from 0.1\u2009MHz to 15\u2009MHz. The influence of AC current dependent on the frequency is correlated with the magnetization mechanism. The maximum transverse Kerr intensity (MTKI) decreased with the increase in<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M3\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>under direct magnetic field when the frequency was below megahertz. However, MTKI values were similar with the increase of<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M4\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>when it was over 2\u2009MHz. Meanwhile, the GMI effect was optimized by selecting an adequate value of AC driving current<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M5\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi>p<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>, at which the circular permeability was higher when the frequency was not over 2\u2009MHz. Results showed that the influence of<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M6\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>on magnetoimpedance became weak with strong skin effect and slightly stronger GMI effect driven by a higher<mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M7\"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi>I<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">a<\/mml:mi><mml:mi mathvariant=\"normal\">c<\/mml:mi><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:msub><\/mml:mrow><\/mml:math>when the frequency was between 2\u2009MHz and 15\u2009MHz.
