In this study, the StWC and environmental factors of <jats:italic>Lagerstroemia indica<\/jats:italic> in Beijing were continuously observed by a BD-IV plant stem water content sensor and a forest microclimate monitoring station from 2017 to 2018. The variation of StWC and its correlation with environmental factors were analyzed. The results showed that the StWC of <jats:italic>Lagerstroemia indica<\/jats:italic> varies regularly day and night during the growth cycle. Meanwhile, the rising time, valley time, and falling time of StWC were various at the different growth stages of <jats:italic>Lagerstroemia indica<\/jats:italic>. The results of correlation analysis between StWC and environmental factors indicated that the StWC of <jats:italic>Lagerstroemia indica<\/jats:italic> was positively correlated with air relative humidity, while it was negatively correlated with total radiation and air temperature. The multiple regression equation of StWC and environmental factors of <jats:italic>Lagerstroemia indica<\/jats:italic> was <mml:math xmlns:mml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M1\"><mml:mtext>StWC<\/mml:mtext><mml:mo>=<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>11.789<\/mml:mn><mml:mo>\u2212<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>1.402<\/mml:mn><mml:mtext>Rn<\/mml:mtext><mml:mo>\u2212<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>0.931<\/mml:mn><mml:mi>T<\/mml:mi><mml:mo>\u2212<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>1.132<\/mml:mn><mml:mtext>Ws<\/mml:mtext><mml:mo>+<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>0.933<\/mml:mn><mml:mtext>RH<\/mml:mtext><mml:mo>\u2212<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>3.368<\/mml:mn><mml:mtext>ST<\/mml:mtext><mml:mo>+<\/mml:mo><mml:mn>2.168<\/mml:mn><mml:mtext>SMC<\/mml:mtext><\/mml:math>, and the coefficient of determination of the equation was of 0.87.
