Primary BMSCs were isolated from rabbit bone marrow, cultured, and the markers of BMSCs on cell\u2019s surface were analyzed using flow cytometry. The experiment involved five groups, namely, control: untreated BMSCs; model: BMSCs treated with ethanol; empty siRNA: BMSCs treated with ethanol\u2009+\u2009empty siRNA; PPAR\u03b3: BMSCs treated with ethanol\u2009+\u2009PPAR\u03b3 siRNA; and PPAR\u03b3 inhibitor: BMSCs treated with ethanol\u2009+\u2009T0070907. RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect changes in the expression level of PPAR\u03b3, PETALA2 (AP2), lipoprotein lipase (LPL), fatty acid transport protein (FATP) 1, and fatty acid transporter (FAT). Adipocyte count and triacylglycerol content of the model and the empty siRNA groups were considerably greater than the control group (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <a:math xmlns:a=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M1\">\n                        <a:mi>P<\/a:mi>\n                        <a:mo>&lt;<\/a:mo>\n                        <a:mn>0.01<\/a:mn>\n                     <\/a:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>). After the inhibition with PPAR\u03b3 or T0070907, adipocyte count and triacylglycerol content of the PPAR\u03b3 and T0070907 groups were significantly reduced (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <c:math xmlns:c=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M2\">\n                        <c:mi>P<\/c:mi>\n                        <c:mo>&lt;<\/c:mo>\n                        <c:mn>0.01<\/c:mn>\n                     <\/c:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>), with no statistically significantly difference than the control group (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <e:math xmlns:e=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M3\">\n                        <e:mi>P<\/e:mi>\n                        <e:mo>&gt;<\/e:mo>\n                        <e:mn>0.05<\/e:mn>\n                     <\/e:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>). The expression levels of PPAR\u03b3 gene and protein in the model and empty siRNA groups were ominously enhanced than the control group (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <g:math xmlns:g=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M4\">\n                        <g:mi>P<\/g:mi>\n                        <g:mo>&lt;<\/g:mo>\n                        <g:mn>0.01<\/g:mn>\n                     <\/g:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>), and after inhibition with PPAR\u03b3 or T0070907, the PPAR\u03b3 gene or protein expression level of PPAR\u03b3 and T0070907 groups significantly reduced (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <i:math xmlns:i=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M5\">\n                        <i:mi>P<\/i:mi>\n                        <i:mo>&lt;<\/i:mo>\n                        <i:mn>0.01<\/i:mn>\n                     <\/i:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>), with no statistically significance difference compared to the control group (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <k:math xmlns:k=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M6\">\n                        <k:mi>P<\/k:mi>\n                        <k:mo>&gt;<\/k:mo>\n                        <k:mn>0.05<\/k:mn>\n                     <\/k:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>). The expression levels of Ap2, LPL, FATP1, and FAT genes in the model and empty siRNA groups were considerably greater compared to the control group (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <m:math xmlns:m=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M7\">\n                        <m:mi>P<\/m:mi>\n                        <m:mo>&lt;<\/m:mo>\n                        <m:mn>0.01<\/m:mn>\n                     <\/m:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>). Inhibition with PPAR\u03b3 or T0070907 in the PPAR\u03b3 and T0070907 groups, respectively, lead to significantly reduced expression levels of adipogenic genes (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <o:math xmlns:o=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M8\">\n                        <o:mi>P<\/o:mi>\n                        <o:mo>&lt;<\/o:mo>\n                        <o:mn>0.01<\/o:mn>\n                     <\/o:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>), with no statistically significance difference compared to the control (<jats:inline-formula>\n                     <q:math xmlns:q=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\" id=\"M9\">\n                        <q:mi>P<\/q:mi>\n                        <q:mo>&gt;<\/q:mo>\n                        <q:mn>0.05<\/q:mn>\n                     <\/q:math>\n                  <\/jats:inline-formula>). Inhibition of PPAR\u03b3 gene downregulates the differentiation of BMSCs into adipocytes, indicating its putative role in the expression of adipogenic
