Individual GH3 cells labeled  with the calcium\nfluorophore Fluo\u20103 were stimulated using a counter\u2010propagating\nfocused femtosecond beam with respect to the imaging system. As a\nresult of the stimulation, calcium waves can be generated in COS\ncells, and laser\u2010induced calcium oscillations are initiated in the\nGH3 cells.
